Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how NURO Marketing ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use NURO University (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. This policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and is informed by the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information We Collect
We collect several categories of information in connection with your use of the Platform:
A. Account Information
- ›Full name and email address (provided at registration)
- ›Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we never store your plaintext password)
- ›Profile information you choose to add
- ›Language preference (English or Spanish)
B. Payment Information
Payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, card verification code (CVC), or bank account details. We retain only a payment confirmation token, the last four digits of your card (for display purposes), and transaction metadata such as the amount paid and date of purchase.

- ›IP address and approximate geographic location (country/city level)
- ›Browser type and version
- ›Device type and operating system
- ›Referring website or URL
- ›Pages visited on our Platform and click behavior
E. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as browser local storage) to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. See Section 10 for more detail on our cookie use.
F. Communications
If you contact us by email or through any support channel, we retain records of that correspondence, including your email address and the content of your messages, for the purpose of handling your inquiry and improving our support.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

- ›Processing your enrollment and verifying payment
- ›Creating and managing your account and tracking your learning progress
- ›Sending transactional communications related to your account (e.g., enrollment confirmation, password resets, course access updates)
- ›Sending course-related announcements and updates when relevant new content or features are added
- ›Providing customer support and responding to your inquiries
- ›Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, account sharing, and other prohibited activities
- ›Analyzing usage patterns and course engagement to improve the Platform, content quality, and user experience
- ›Ensuring compliance with our Terms of Service and applicable laws
- ›Fulfilling legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from governmental authorities
We will not use your personal information for purposes materially different from those described here without notifying you and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.
How We Share Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal data.
NURO Marketing does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Stripe (Payment Processing)
We share the minimum information required to process your payment transaction, including your name, email, and billing address. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Vercel (Hosting)
Our Platform is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may process technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of serving the application to you.
Supabase (Database)
We use Supabase to store your account information, course progress, and related data. Supabase operates secure, encrypted databases and does not access your data except as required to provide database services.
Anthropic (AI Chat — NURO Agent)
When you interact with the NURO Agent chat feature, your messages are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Message content is sent to Anthropic for processing but is not permanently stored on their systems beyond any retention period specified in Anthropic's usage policies. We do not share your account identity with Anthropic in connection with chat messages.
We may also disclose your information: (a) to comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process (e.g., subpoena, court order, or government request); (b) to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of NURO Marketing, our users, or the public; (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, in which case your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity (we will provide notice of any such transfer); or (d) with your explicit prior consent.
Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- ›TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
- ›Encrypted storage of passwords using industry-standard hashing algorithms
- ›Database-level encryption for stored personal information
- ›Access controls limiting who within our organization can access personal data
- ›Regular security reviews and updates to our infrastructure
Despite these measures, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. Specifically:
- ›Account and profile information is retained for the lifetime of your active account
- ›Course progress data and learning records are retained while your account is active
- ›Payment transaction records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations (typically 7 years)
- ›Support communications are retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction
- ›Analytics and aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely in anonymized form
Upon your request to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except for data we are required to retain by law (such as transaction records) and data needed to resolve outstanding disputes or enforce our agreements.

- ›Right to Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information in your account
- ›Right to Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal retention requirements
- ›Right to Data Portability: You may request a machine-readable export of your personal data where technically feasible
- ›Right to Opt-Out of Marketing: You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us
- ›Right to Restriction: In certain circumstances, you may request that we restrict the processing of your data
We will respond to all verifiable requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- ›Right to Know: You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
- ›Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions

- ›Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes
- ›Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights
- ›Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CCPA beyond what is necessary to provide the Service

International Users
NURO University is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Platform from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country of residence.
By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers to the extent required by applicable law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or equivalent national legislation. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is: (a) performance of our contract with you (to deliver the course), (b) your consent where applicable, (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Platform, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
Children's Privacy
NURO University is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may only use the Platform with the express consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete such information. If you believe we have collected information from a minor without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately at support@nuromarketing.com.

We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies on the Platform:
Essential / Session Cookies
Required for the Platform to function. These cookies maintain your login session so you do not need to sign in on every page visit. You cannot opt out of these cookies while using the Service.
Preference Cookies
Used to remember your settings, such as your language preference (English or Spanish). These improve your experience but are not strictly necessary.
Analytics Cookies
Used to collect aggregated, anonymized data about how users interact with the Platform — such as which modules are most frequently visited, how long users spend on lessons, and overall platform performance. This data helps us improve the course experience.
